Hola
Here's who I am & what I do
Born and raised in Venezuela, currently teach Spanish at Northwestern University in Evanston.
I am a 2020-2021 Fulbright U.S. Scholar alternate candidate. My research interests include: the Judeo-Español language and literature; Sephardi culture; Crypto-Jews cuisine; Descendants of Crypto Jews along Latinoamerica; Teaching with technology and Learning styles. In addition, I am a Faculty in Residence for the South Area (2017-present) and Faculty Fellow at Shepard Residence College (2009-present).
I presented and published in the United States and abroad.
I agree with Simon Silnek, who wrote:
"Working hard for something we do not care about, is called stress; working hard for something we love is called passion".
I love teaching, and be with students, chat with them and work with them. This is my passion!
